Chip Revenge

Many of you know that the past 6 months has left this particular blog high and dry. No sign of revival, no posts about the 'going on's of life and no, well, CONRAD !

For the past 6 months, my favourite drug, the internet, was taken away. The already dead computer, just laid in my room mocking me each time I look at it. My dad just delayed and delayed and delayed on repairing the damn thing !

Ah ! well, I now have a new job. I'll be working at Peter Hoe Evolution ( a boutique below Kasturi tuition centre in the Lee Rubber Building near Petaling Street !). I am so freaking nervous ! I have no idea why though ? It's just that I'm scared that I'll not catch up, not fit in, make Peter Hoe himself angry and fire me ... the list just travels on ... I love the place ! I've always side tracked to the boutique on the way up to tuition ! Ask Denise, Suzanne, Stephanie, Sonia and Raveena !!! They all know how much I like going in there ! Maybe that's why, the reason I'm so afraid of screwing up, I like the place too much ! Aaahhh ! Wish me luck ! Cross your fingers and toes and limbs and if possible, cross your bodies too !!!

My previous job ( which I did not tell Peter about ), I was an ' Advertising Trainee ' ( they so eloquently put it ! ) at an advertising agency in Taman Connaught ( has a branch up in Kelana Jaya and opening a new one soon in Puchong ! ). The manager of that company cleverly lured me into the company saying that;

1. I was the last person given this opportunity ( after 2 days or so, he hired 4 more people )
2. It was for charity ( I was bustling around tables in every major centre [ for about 10 hours a day] where people congregated during lunch hours to convince them to donate to the Spastic Children Association of the Federal Territory and Selangor by purchasing a green car sticker at the price of RM10 )
3. That the thing I was doing ( see num. 2 ) would only last for 2 months ( it does not !!! )
4. That this thing was to run till July 2007 ( it was supposed to end in December 2006 !!! )
5. That all the money I collect goes to the organization ( it does not, after 2 days of successful sales they changed my salary structure to profit sharing and promoted me to team leader in 6 days. Meaning, 20% from all my sales becomes my salary after every 7 days ! ... Not only that, I found out that the manager gets 30% out of everyone's sales ... my company has 2 managers !!! ... How much do you think the organization gets ??? )

Honestly, I should've seen right through the manager's motives but gaining so much profit kinda made me not realize things way sooner !

Things between my dad and I are still not good. He still insist that I shouldn't do Mass Communication. ( Ugh !!! It drives me crazy ) He also hates things that I take an interest to ! I currently am taking yoga, it's painful but cool ( painfully-cool ), but my dad hates that I'm spending my time doing yoga. He hates the fact that I'm not all bothered about how people may comment on the things I like to do ( he gets shy to tell people I'm his son, last time I took up dance classes, that too made him embarrassed ) It's not my fault his friends are so close minded !!! I like to try new things. Isn't that called LIVING ... and not regretting ???!!!

So many things more to talk about but I'd rather not. These are the things that happened in the past 6 months;

1. My grandmother passed away during the STPM exams ( she passed away on the airplane back from Philippines in the LCCT )
2. I went for a meeting that I didn't know was very alike Amway !!!
3. Spent New Year's eve in Jalan P. Ramlee with Joanne, her friends, Sonia and Buzzy ( I walked into 4 clubs, paid only for two ! )
4. Wished Fariza goodbye at KLIA ( she's now in Egypt studying medicine and has an Egyptian boyfriend ! )
5. Wished Loy Yang Goodbye at KLIA and a few other places with different friends ( He went off to Australia to further his studies too )
6. Gone out too many times with Sonia
7. Went karaoke-ing with Debbi and Michelle ( that was fun ... all the funny songs we sang [ the fast food song and my humps ] the cacat remote control that made the volume way too loud, the good food, the Kampai I drank and made funny faces ... )

Since the computer has been fixed, I have been on it way too long ... I think I should stop !
